Responsibilities

The Grant Project Support Associate provides administrative support for the GENERATE Project by collaborating with the GENERATE Primary Investigator, Grant Project Director, and Project Team as needed for project administration. Additionally, the Associate will assist internal and external stakeholders by phone and/or email with questions and concerns about the GENERATE Project. The position performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Strategic Engagement.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and two years of prior administrative support experience that involves the use of multiple computer applications are required. Candidates should be able to use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Candidates with a bachelor's degree are highly desirable.

  • Office Etiquette (i.e. Customer Service, Professionalism)
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task for time-sensitive federal grant guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written to build/maintain positive professional relationships
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess a high level of initiative to liaise with district partners
  • Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to maintain accurate records
  • Possesses a strong work ethic to maintain the work load
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
