The incumbent is responsible for all phases of recruitment and admissions process for graduate programs offered by the College of Professional Advancement. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision of graduate admissions team which includes an Admissions Counselor, Enrollment Associate and student workers, recruitment travel, inquiry development, application completion and review, student interviewing, professional presentations, and correspondence. Working with a great degree of independence, the incumbent reports regularly to the AVP of Enrollment Management, but will work cooperatively with the Dean, all Academic Program Directors, as well as staff members engaged in marketing and communication, data operations, admissions, alumni and development, and career service functions. The incumbent will supervise the development of partnership agreements for all graduate programs which include Counseling, Leadership Studies and Technology programs.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and three years of experience, which must include experience with admissions, working adult recruitment and higher education administration are required. Candidates with a master's degree are highly desirable. 

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires some travel.

  • Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for letters, mailings, etc.
  • Understanding the specific needs of post traditional graduate students
