- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Applicant must posses either a Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field (EE, ME, AE, IE, SW, etc.) from an ABET accredited institution and 15 years of directly related experience, including 10 years in a technical management position; or a Master's degree in same and 18 years of directly related experience, including 12 years in a technical management position; or an undergraduate degree in same and 21 years of directly related experience, including 10 years in a technical management position.
- Requires strong analytical skills and a working knowledge of leading large cross-functional programs.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, PC application software, advanced analytic techniques, program management, organizational skills and software skills.
- Most possess excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess the technical acumen and the ability to troubleshoot on a variety of programs.
- Must be able to communication clearly horizontally and vertically across an organization. This communications span the gap between engineering interns to the Senior Director of Engineering and across other Engineering Directors, business development staff, operations staff, and clients.
- Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills with an obsessive attention to detail.
- Must have superior budgeting and cost management abilities, assessing estimated costs early in the program and bringing the actual costs within budget.
- Must be able to perform business development activities to include customer interface, estimating and scheduling; technical proposal development, and follow through.
