Responsibilities |
- Responsible or software architecture, design, development and implementation of state-of-the-art business and human resources systems using a range of applicable technologies and software engineering methodologies.
- Responsible or the design and maintenance of complex SQL Server Databases including extensive stored procedures.
- Effectively work within small cohesive teams to maintain multiple integrated software applications.
- Required to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity while accessing sensitive data.
- Responsible for the successful development, integration, and deployment of quality software.
- Applies strong analytical problem solving and debugging skills for complex issues across multiple platforms.
- Remains abreast of all applicable technical advancements.
- Adheres to approved MERC CMMI quality management policies and principles and promotes an attitude of commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Required Qualifications |
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in Software or Computer Engineering or a Computer Science degree from a School of Engineering at an ABET accredited institution and 9 years of related experience; or a Master's degree in same and 8 years of related experience; or a Ph.D. in same and 3 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in most of the following technologies: ASP.Net, Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, Javascript, Azure DevOps Server, Redgate, and Telerik.

Preferred Qualifications |
- The ideal candidate enjoys interface with non-technical customers or users, extracting processes, business rules and other pertinent information regarding their day-to-day roles in business systems.
- Candidate is capable of moving our current web applications from ASP.Net web forms into a MVC or .NET Core environment.
- Five years of software development in a supervised and/or team environment is a plus.
- Experience working with Finance/Human Resources/Business Systems software.
