Responsibilities
- Works with the Sr. Director of Engineering and Programs, Technical Directors, and Chief Engineers to plan, staff, and manage assigned programs according to and in compliance with MERC Standard Processes, to include maintaining an up-to-date detailed programmatic/technical schedule for an assigned program throughout the life of the program.
 
- Directly responsible for the successful execution of assigned programs within budget and scope, and in accordance with program schedule.
 
- Provides periodic programmatic and technical reviews of assigned programs to all management stakeholders as directed, including all MERC Directors and Chief Engineers.
 
- Coordinates the efforts of others whose assignment is a portion of, or related to, assigned programs in order to maximize adherence to program schedules.
 
- Assists capture manager responsible for development of programmatic and technical approach.
 
- Encourages assigned program personnel to recommend potential program follow-ons and/or tangential future business opportunities and provides those recommendations to the Chief Engineers and the Director of Acquisition Strategy.
 
- After program completion, provides a written performance evaluation of each member of the proposal execution team to the respective team member’s immediate supervisor.
 
- Responsible for support and execution of other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

- An undergraduate degree and 8 years of program related experience or 10 years with no degree.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft; specifically B-1, B-52, F-15, F-16, C-130, C-5, H-60, and H-1.

- Familiarity with United States Air Force lingo and terminology; specifically USAF logistics, acquisitions, maintenance, and supply.

- Familiarity with Electronic Warfare lingo and terminology; specifically ALQ-161, ALQ-172, ALE-47/ALQ-213, AN/ALR-56M.

- Familiarity with Firmware and Software development. 

- Familiarity with Closed Loop Operational Test- Vertical Testability Demonstration (CLOT-VTD), Electronic Warfare Avionics Integration Support Facility (EWAISF), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
