- Works with the Senior Director of Engineering and Programs, Technical Directors, and Chief Engineers to plan, staff, and manage assigned programs according to and in compliance with MERC Standard Processes, to include maintaining an up-to-date detailed programmatic/technical schedule for an assigned program throughout the life of the program.

- Directly responsible or the successful execution of assigned programs within budget and scope, and in accordance with program schedule.

- Provides periodic programmatic and technical reviews of assigned programs to all management stakeholders as directed, including all MERC Directors and Chief Engineers.

- Coordinates the efforts o others whose assignment is a portion o, or related to, assigned programs in order to maximize adherence to the program schedules and budgets.

- Assists capture manager responsible for development of programmatic and technical approach.

- Encourages assigned program personnel to recommend potential program follow-on and/or tangential future business opportunities and provides those recommendations to the Chief Engineers and the Director of Acquisition Strategy.

- After program completion, provides a written performance evaluation of each member of the program execution team to the respective team member's immediate supervisor.

- Responsible for support and execution of other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor. 

Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Ability of obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

- An undergraduate degree and 10 years of program related experience.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required.

- 4 years of program management experience with R&D programs in engineering and/or scientific fields.

- 4 years of experience in the development of new business in a focused technology or functional area.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft; specifically B-1, B-52, F-15, F-16, C-130, C-5, H-60, and H-1.

- Familiarity with United States Air Force lingo and terminology; specifically USAF logistics, acquisitions, maintenance, and supply.

- Familiarity with Electronic Warfare lingo and terminology; specifically ALQ-161, ALQ-172, ALE-47/ALQ-213, AN/ALR-56M.

- Familiarity with Firmware and Software development. 

- Familiarity with Closed Loop Operational Test- Vertical Testability Demonstration (CLOT-VTD), Electronic Warfare Avionics Integration Support Facility (EWAISF), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
