Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all record keeping, record organization and administrative secretary training for five TRIO Programs (Student Support Services-Macon, Student Support Services-Henry, Upward Bound-Bibb, Upward Bound-BHW and the Educational Opportunity Center) and Minority Affairs and is the administrator for Blumen database management. This person also serves as the office manager for TRIO programs. This person should thrive to maintain an efficient office under direct supervision of Program Director.

Required Qualifications

Two years of college coursework and one year of administrative support experience, to include working with databases are required. In lieu of education, equivalent directly related experience will be considered. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Google Suite including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms; Photoshop knowledge a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

● Excellent web and technology skills and comfortable troubleshooting tech issues
● Comfortable learning new technical/computer skills as they arise
● Strong writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
● Excellent time management skills
