Responsibilities |
Under indirect supervision, the Area Coordinator creates a residential environment, which contributes to the development of residents; assists in selecting, training, and supervising Resident Directors, Resident Assistants and Senior Resident Assistants; serves as a liaison for Fraternity and Sorority Housing and the Lofts Apartments; assists in the management of COVID-19 policies and procedures within Isolation Housing and meal delivery to students in isolation; serves as a university hearing officer; administers programming in the residence halls, including budget management. Under direct supervision, this position assists in instructing the resident assistant in-services; participates in the professional duty rotation for Housing & Residence Life; and assists in the management of the Housing & Residence Life facilities.

Required Qualifications |
Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration or a related field from an accredited college/university is required. Candidates with prior Housing & Residence Life and/or Student Services experience are strongly desired. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to community development within the campus environment. Position requires the professional to live-in.

Pay Rate |
This is a full-time, live-in/on, 12-month position with full university benefits (health, retirement, etc.). Annual salary is $36,000. A two bedroom apartment with utilities, internet, basic cable and a cell phone is provided.
