Responsibilities

The Director of Operations will manage the day-to-day operations of the Health Equity Navigator initiative within the Center for Rural Health and Health Disparities. The Director of Operations will be responsible for: planning, organizing, and managing the general day-to-day community engagement, training, and programmatic activities of the initiative; managing staff hiring, onboarding, and training; overseeing and assuring compliance with policies, protocols, and funder requirements; supervising programmatic staff; supporting performance measurement, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives; assisting with data management, progress reporting, budget monitoring, and requests for funds; coordinating external relations (including marketing, website, etc.); and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and three years of project management experience, which must include prior supervisory experience OR a master's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of project management experience, which must include supervisory experience are required.  Candidates must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to train, supervise, and enact performance improvement plans for supervisees.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires travel.
