Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for the recruitment and admissions of working adult students in graduate and occasionally undergraduate programs offered by Stetson-Hatcher School of Business (SHSB) in Atlanta, and others as assigned. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruitment travel, inquiry development, application completion and review, student interviewing, professional presentations, and correspondence. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admissions, SHSB, the incumbent works regularly with the Director of Admissions and Marketing for ATL/RAC, the Dean of SHSB, all Academic Program Directors, as well as staff members engaged in admissions, alumni and development, and career service functions.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required. Candidates with a master's degree and/or prior experience working with admissions and/or recruitment are highly desirable. 

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires travel.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Sound knowledge and experience of recruitment, admissions and financial aid.
  • Database enrollment management techniques.
    Ability to implement “state of the art” marketing and recruitment strategies.
  • Planning, organizing and management skills.
  • Leadership and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for letters, mailings, etc.
  • Understanding the specific needs of working adult students.
