Responsible for providing secretarial support to assigned faculty members. Responsible for all day-to-day faculty requests, including but not limited to: copying; preparing correspondence; class rosters; seating charts; ordering books and desk copies; proofreading documents; posting faculty assignments on Canvas or TWEN; accepting, returning, and storing student assignments and exams; and general office duties as required.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and at least two years of administrative support experience are required.  Candidates must have proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.  The successful candidate must have a pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, and be responsible, reliable and flexible. This position requires adaptability to stressful situations such as last-minute projects and flexibility to be able to work with different professors and their differing personalities and work requirements. The ability to prioritize is essential in this position. The candidate is expected to maintain confidentiality (grades, exams, students problems, etc.).

Pay Rate

Base: $12 an hour up to commensurate with experience
