Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to coordinate all operational needs for the Mercer Athletic Foundation including, but not limited to: mailings, email/social media communications, game day preparations for football/basketball, student/volunteer help and tailgates/special events. This position will be charged with leadership of all 400 Fund programming and communications between student-athletes and donors. At times this position will solicit gifts in support of Mercer Athletics over the phone and at games. Will work closely with marketing, creative and video departments to utilize social media in promotion of Mercer Athletic Foundation.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of related experience that could include event setup and/or coordination, administrative support, and/or experience working in development/fundraising are required.  In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Candidates should have experience working with Microsoft Office.  Candidates with prior fundraising experience and/or event planning/coordination experience are highly desirable.
