Responsibilities

Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Coordinator of Admissions is responsible for administrative support and coordination of all admissions and recruitment activities and programs. The Coordinator of Admissions will be responsible for supporting daily campus visitation, inventory, budgeting, and programmatic support to recruitment efforts such as scholarship competitions, the Stamps Scholars program, counselor relations, transfer, athletic, and international admissions.  The incumbent will articulate the mission and values of the university with excellent customer service via phone, email, and personal interactions with prospective students and families.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and 5 years of administrative office support experience, to include data entry and customer service experience is required. In lieu of experience, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to communicate with prospective students and families via phone, email, and personal interactions.  The incumbent must also be able to communicate effectively with various departments to coordinate admission and recruitment programs and events.  Prior experience working in enrollment management, admissions, and/or student services is desirable.
