Responsibilities |
Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University invites applications for a nursing faculty position. Candidates with expertise in the areas of Adult Health/Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Community Health, or Mental Health are sought to teach our highly qualified student body. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. This is a non-tenure track eligible full-time 12-month faculty position. The candidate must demonstrate and hold expertise as an academician at the university level, which includes teaching in an on-ground classroom setting. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will be teaching in the undergraduate nursing program (BSN and RN-BSN). In addition to teaching, the position includes responsibilities associated with research and scholarship. Faculty rank commensurate with experience. This is a full-time faculty appointment with on campus requirements. This is NOT a remote or online position.

Qualifications |
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing (minimum) from an accredited college/university is required.
- Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Preferred qualifications:
- A PhD in nursing (preferred); a DNP or other nursing based doctoral degree may be considered
- Experience with CCNE accreditation standards
- Baccalaureate on-line teaching experience in nursing and evidence of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Full-time academic experience
