Responsibilities |
Mercer University School of Medicine, Department of Biomedical Sciences, invites applications for a salaried, ten-month, non-tenure-track position in Biochemistry at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in education, to assume primary responsibility for biochemistry instruction in the Master of Science programs, and also to contribute to teaching in the M.D. Program. This position includes the opportunity to pursue scholarly activity in medical education.
School of Medicine faculty are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, to maintain scholarly productivity in medical education or biomedical sciences research, and to engage in university and community service activities. Individuals who are interested in a career dedicated to teaching and educational scholarship are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications |
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Biochemistry or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
