Responsibilities include classroom/laboratory instruction and evaluation related to contemporary clinical practice; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions and accreditation activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities (publications, grants, presentations, and collaborative projects). Qualifications include a minimum of five years’ experience as a physical therapist, a CAPTE-recognized terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, DHS, or equivalent), and eligibility for licensure in Georgia as a physical therapist. Experience teaching, examining, and mentoring physical therapist students is desirable. Preference will be given to individuals with a history of externally funded research and scholarly dissemination.
