Responsibilities

- Electronic/avionic systems analysis.

- Electrical/thermal load analysis.

- Weight and balance reports.

- Avionic systems qualification and flight test support.

- Simulation and modeling of electronic subsystems and circuits.

- Digital circuit design.

- Analog circuit design.

- Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.

- Assembly/disassembly of electronic/avionic assemblies.

- CPLD/FPGA development.

- Troubleshooting/empirical analysis of electronic circuits.

- Use of AutoCad/SolidWorks for electromechanical modeling and creation of 2D drawings.

- Design of wiring and cable subassemblies for aircraft use.

Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Successful candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD security clearance.

- This position requires a Baccalaureate degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited School or College of Engineering.

- The candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team or alone, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency with lab test equipment such as o-scopes, logic analyzers, signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.

- Proficient in use of Altium Designer, SolidWorks, Xilinx Tools.

- Use of Analog Spice Simulation Tools.

- Use of time domain modeling and simulation tools for complex electronic designs.

- Experience in on-aircraft technical work including engineering validation of system interconnects, requirements for wiring and cabling, workmanship requirements.

-Digital and analog circuit design experience.

-Proven technical communication skills.

- Two+ years of applicable experience.
