Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and performing logistical life cycle planning and support for assigned programs, focusing on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)/MSG-3 and Engineering Requirements Review (ERR). Leads a team and individually conducts theoretical and experimental studies, provides technical direction, and directs analyses to formulate solutions to problems. Performs assigned duties with guidance from more senior reliability analysts, supervisor, designated project/program manager, or chief engineer. Executes the RCM/MSG-3 Program in accordance with established procedures and/or regulations.

Required Qualifications

Requires a PhD in logistics, aircraft science, or a closely related area from an accredited college or university and 3 years of directly related experience, a Master’s degree in same and 6 years of directly related experience; or Certification as a Professional Logistician (CPL) and 6 years directly related experience; or an Undergraduate degree in same and 9 years of directly related experience; or an Associate’s degree in same and 13 years of directly related experience; or no degree and 15 years of directly related experience as a recognized expert in the respective field.

Requires 3 years of leadership experience

Requires proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair processes and procedures

Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with USAF Supply Systems, Avionics/Electronics, or Aircraft Systems maintenance, management, or data evaluation/analysis.

Experience with the Engineering Requirements Review process

Experience with Air Force drawings and provide recommended updates as required.

Familiar with Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG3), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Conditioned Based Maintenance (CBM+),Standard Visual Work Cards (SVWC).

Understanding of the Air Force Technical Order Manual systems, Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO), and Technical Order Management Agency.

Experience performing data analysis using aircraft or equipment maintenance data.

Prior experience with U.S. Air Force and use of special tools/equipment required to perform process improvement recommendations on assigned maintenance tasks.

Ability to read and interpret technical publications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Should be a self-motivator and work with minimum supervision.
