Responsibilities |
Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics (AACSB accredited) invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing on Mercer’s Macon campus beginning August 2020. This is a tenure-track position. Primary duties include teaching 9 credit hours per semester, conducting research, mentoring students, and serving on faculty and university committees.

Qualifications |
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Marketing from an accredited college/university. In lieu of a Ph.D. in Marketing, candidates with a Ph.D. and evidence of higher levels of sustained, substantive academic and/or professional engagement activities to support their currency and relevance in their fields of teaching and their contributions to other mission components which qualifies them to be AACSB scholarly academic in marketing will also be considered. Candidates with earned degrees will be given preference, but ABDs completing the degree by August 1, 2020 will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach marketing research and marketing strategy. Additional teaching needs include digital marketing strategy at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
