The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. This position is renewable for up to two years with successful evaluation by the department. The primary instructional responsibilities will be general chemistry and courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include mentoring of undergraduate student research.


A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from an accredited college/university is required; ABD candidates will be considered at the instructor rank until the completion of degree.
