This individual will be required to attend graduate and undergraduate curriculum meetings (Macon and Regional Academic Centers) and other meetings related to the development of curriculum. The candidate will be required to edit and maintain the student information system as it relates to curriculum updates, student waivers, and study abroad. This includes making recommendations to the curriculum committee as to whether there would be issues with the implementation of new programs. The incumbent is responsible for formatting and coordinating the publishing in print and electronic version (HTML) of the Macon, Atlanta, and Regional Academic Centers’ catalogs. Accuracy in text, uniformity in the printed university policies and procedures, and timely printing and distribution of the catalogs is essential. Employee is responsible for coordinating/gathering information for and the publication of the graduation brochure. Much of the work of this position is done independently or with limited supervision.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and three years of registrar's office experience to include knowledge of and experience with a student information systems, preferably Nexus.

  • Ability to skillfully write materials and accurately edit written documents. Ability to proofread/edit documents.
  • Ability to work effectively with computer based word processing applications (e.g. Microsoft Suite) as bulletin copay must be submitted in this format.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and student
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to have critical decision making skills.
