Primary responsibility is to support the functions and operations of the Dean and Dean's Office at the College of Health Professions. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. They must work well in a team environment yet possess the capacity to work independently with indirect supervision. The incumbent must communicate clearly and effectively, present a professional appearance, and serve as the first contact for external/internal guests for the College of Health Professions.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma/GED and five years of progressively responsible administrative support experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. Candidates should be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Canvas, and Zoom. Candidates with a bachelor's degree are highly desirable. 


-Expert knowledge of Word to generate correspondence, reports, merge files, forms, tables, etc.
-Expert knowledge of PowerPoint to generate presentations including charts, graphs, graphics, etc.
-Above average knowledge of Excel to generate spreadsheets, forms, tables, charts, graphs, etc.
-Working knowledge of office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, printers) in order to use properly and troubleshoot, if necessary.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating necessary documents and communicating with internal and external constituents. Excellent interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of administration, internal colleagues, external clients, students, etc.
-Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality of College, faculty, and student records.
-Proficient in Moodle to assist Dean with course management.
