- This position will be leading the structural and mechanical system integrity programs for USAF Rotary Wing platforms (HH-60G, TH-1H, UH-1N, and future platforms).

Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

- A Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and 6 years of directly related experience; or a Master's degree in same and 11 years of directly related experience; or a Bachelor's degree in same and 12 years of directly related experience.

- 6 years of technical lead responsibility. 

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading teams of 10+ engineers across multiple disciplines, while managing requirements, schedule, and resources to ensure contract requirements are met or exceeded.

- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1530 and MIL-STD-1798 program requirements.

- Experience with various structural analysis methods including damage tolerance analysis, fatigue analysis, and static strength analysis.

- Experience with finite element modeling to support structural analysis efforts, including verification and validation of the models.

- Experience with rotorcraft loads.

- Experience with remaining useful life of rotorcraft dynamic components.
