Responsibilities |
This position has the responsibility of coordination and oversight for the administrative responsibilities of the clinical year for the Physician Assistant Program. The Coordinator of Experiential Learning (COEL) is responsible for coordination clinical practicums with preceptors. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple higher level tasks simultaneously, possess excellent time management skills, and work with changing priorities throughout the clinical year. Exceptional organizational skills are required with excellent attention to detail. This person must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and correctly in both verbal and written form, as well as exhibit professionalism. They must work extremely well in a team environment yet possess the capacity to work independently. This person will serve as the first-line contact for clinical students and Preceptors for the Physician Assistant Program and must be comfortable speaking directly to physicians, clinical office staff, and working directly with students in a clinical setting. Some travel will be required.

Required Qualifications |
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Marketing and Sales, Biology/Sciences, Human Resources, Health Information, or related field is required as well as three years of directly relevant experience that could include sales/marketing, recruitment, prior experience in a health sciences-related environment, and/or prior experience in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple higher level tasks simultaneously, possess excellent time management skills, and work with changing priorities throughout the clinical year. Exceptional organizational skills are required with excellent attention to detail. This person must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and correctly in both verbal and written form, as well as exhibit professionalism. They must work extremely well in a team environment yet possess the capacity to work independently.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license as some travel will be required.
