Responsibilities |
This position requires the ability to multi-task by triaging multiple patients, to include, obtaining vitals, updating patient information and providing patient education, completing referrals (outgoing/incoming), prescription refills, obtaining authorizations, procedure assistance, completing forms, and manning multiple phone calls. This position does require independent assessment skills for patient needs. This position will work closely with the physician and consult the physician as needed tor patient care. This position is to provide support for MD to assist in his follow up to completing forms, returning calls, and other task and areas of follow up.

Required Qualifications |
This position requires a current Georgia Practical Nursing license, CPR certification, and some clinical experience involving direct patient care. Phlebotomy experience is also required. Candidates must possess caring, compassionate qualities with good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Medical office experience preferred, but not required. Candidates with some endocrinology experience are desirable.
