Responsibilities |
Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business (AACSB accredited) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management Science position on Mercer’s Atlanta campus beginning August 2022.
Primary duties for the Assistant/Associate Professor position are teaching, mentoring students, publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, and participating on school or university committees.
A successful candidate is expected to be willing to teach quantitatively driven operations and supply chain management courses within Mercer’s fast growing degree programs and supervise student capstone projects in the field.

Qualifications |
A Ph.D. in a related field from an accredited college/university is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor until the Ph.D. is obtained. Preference is given to candidates with degrees in Operations Management, Decision Sciences or Industrial Management, and a demonstrated ability or potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed academic journals. Recent industry experience in operations or supply chain management is highly desirable. Proficiency with Python and the ability to teach a Fundamentals of Programming class is also highly desirable.
