Responsibilities

This position provides secretarial support to the faculty, students, and Chair for the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The incumbent will greet visitors, answer phone calls, and maintain a professional work environment and provide support for the overall mission of the Department and College. The incumbent will receive cross-training to assist the academic support services coordinator, including entering and tracking purchasing requisitions. This position assists faculty with academic tasks, room reservations, sorts and distributes mail, informs faculty of packages received and logs in packages to match invoices to purchase orders.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and one year of prior administrative support experience are required. The successful candidate must have proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay Rate

Base: $13.50 an hour up to commensurate with experience
