The Department of Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. This is a one-year visiting appointment with the possibility of annual renewal for up to three years based on successful evaluation by the department. The primary instructional responsibilities will be general chemistry and courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include mentoring of undergraduate student research.


A Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry from an accredited college/university is required by the start date of August 2022; ABD candidates will be considered at the instructor rank until the completion of degree.
