Responsibilities

The Director of Graduate Career Management and Services (D.G.C.M.S.) provides intensive counseling, programming, and career information to business students and alumni with a special emphasis on preparing MBA, MAcc, and MSBA students. The D.G.C.M.S develops relationships with recruiters/potential employers to identify and expand internships and permanent placement opportunities, focusing on students in the (Full Time) MBA program and Master of Accountancy programs. The D.G.C.M.S also facilitates career advancement opportunities via career coaching workshops and individual counseling for Evening MBA, Professional MBA students, and MS in Business Analytics students.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college is required along with four years of related experience, which can include counseling students and/or student services experience. A Master’s of Business Administration or Organizational Leadership is desirable. Must have career coaching skills and a commitment to providing excellent service to a diverse group of students and alumni.  Excellent organizational and both written and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, alumni, and employers.
