Responsibilities

Reporting to the Title IX Coordinator, the Case Manager shares responsibility for the University's overall compliance with Title IX and advancing the University's training/education and ongoing awareness of Title IX and related issues. The Case Manager facilitates the University's commitment to a working and learning environment free from discrimination, including sexual assault, harassment, and sexual exploitation, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. The Case Manager will assist the Title IX Coordinator in overseeing and implementing actions to comply with all aspects of Title IX, including investigations, record keeping, training and education.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or other related field from an accredited university/college and two years of related professional experience, preferably in higher education, are required.  A master's degree with at least one year of related professional experience will also be given consideration.  Prior knowledge or experience working with Title IX, providing training or programming and/or investigative experience is highly desirable.  Must have the ability to interact with a diverse population and maintain a composed, positive attitude in time of crisis.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively in public settings are essential.  Successful candidate will be customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.  Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the University carrier, as position requires travel.
