Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business (AACSB accredited) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Faculty of Management Science position on Mercer’s Atlanta campus beginning January or August 2021. 

Primary duties for this position are teaching 3 courses (primarily at the graduate level) per semester, mentoring students, publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, and participating on school or university committees.

A successful candidate is expected to be willing to teach quantitatively-driven operations and supply chain management courses within Mercer’s fast growing Masters of Science in Business Analytics program and supervise student capstone projects in the field. 


A Ph.D. in a related business field from an accredited college/university is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of instructor. Preference is given to candidates with degrees in Operations Management or Decision Sciences, and a demonstrated ability or potential to publish in quality peer-reviewed academic journals. Recent industry experience in operations or supply chain management is highly desirable.
