This position will plan, organize, and manage the general day to day activities of the Clinical Research area. Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing and assuring compliance with policies and protocols of multiple research organizations. Manager will directly supervise Research staff and will be the primary liaison between contracted sponsors, investigators, and vendors.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required along with five years of clinical research administration/coordination experience, three of which must be in a manager/supervisor role.  Additionally, candidates must obtain a Research Certification from the Association of Clinical Researchers within six months of hire (if they don't already have it). Candidates with an MBA, MHA, or MSN degree are highly desirable.  

  • Knowledge of clinical research study activities
  • Knowledge of clinical research contracting
  • Knowledge of budget/control of funds on behalf of Principal Investigator [MD]
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to train personnel on all aspects of research activities
