Responsibilities

Duties include the integration, maintenance, and operation of radar emulators in concert with Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Under Test (SUT). The position will include operating aircraft and radar emulators in test situations where intensive, fast-paced operator interaction with the radar model is required. It also requires the interconnection of RF and digital cabling with a SUT and the monitoring of those signals for accuracy. Additionally, administration and maintenance of the information technology systems as well as the manipulation and capture of test data on these systems for post-test analysis. The position will involve the development and maintenance of simulation files including flight paths and radar configuration files. Additionally, the operator will assist with the creation and maintenance of integration plans for various SUTs.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Successful candidates must be capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance.

• An undergraduate degree in a related field and 3 years directly related experience, relevant certifications and 6 years of directly related experience, or 9 years of directly related experience.

• Experience in information technology systems’ software maintenance and networking.

• Must have good communications skills and the ability to describe the various radar models’ operation, displays, and controls to test observers

• Must have basic computer skills and experience with MS Office products such as Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with computer software languages such as python and c#.

• Proficiency with Matlab in the analysis of data

• Experience with operating and/or maintaining avionics, radar systems, radar simulators, or other similar systems.

• Experience with signal measurement utilizing devices such as signal/spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.

• Proficiency in the operation of complex computer programs involving fast-reaction times using input devices such as mouse, keyboard, and gaming controllers is a plus.
