Responsibilities

• Maintains listing of approved positions along with assigned salary grade levels

• Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the website and reviewing resumes to ensure minimum qualifications are met

• Prepares new hire paperwork

• Keeps all employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.

• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database 

• Maintains company organization charts and employee directory

• Experience processing employee travel in support of government contracts in accordance with government regulations

• Assists with company special events

• Other administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline and 6 years of diverse administrative experience

• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Demonstrated attention to detail is critical, well organized and methodical in problem solving

• Ability to work independently and in a timely manner

• Ability to collaborate effectively with people from various levels within the organization

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus

• Human resources administrative experience to include preparing job descriptions,  coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, in-processing new employees and working with employee benefits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

• Experience preparing employment records relating to hiring, promoting and terminating

• Experience explaining human resources policies and standards to new and existing employees

• Experience processing new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy and completion and ensure proper approvals

• Experience with job posting systems such as PageUp

• Experience with performing salary surveys 

• Experience processing personnel action forms to ensure accuracy and proper approval

• Experience with facilities management to include managing vendor relationships, maintenance checklists, work orders, etc.

• Experience with CMMI or similar process improvement methodology

• Experience working closely with organization’s senior management
