Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to be responsive to needs of the faculty, students, residents and visitors. To provide administrative support for Departmental faculty, post-doctoral residents, the Mercer University Drug Information Center, and the Vice Chair of the Department. The degree of freedom to act varies among direct supervision, indirect supervision, and independent, depending on the specific task. Oversees payment of practice sites. Tracks invoicing and drafts request for payment of practice sites. Sends reminders to practice sites that have not invoiced the COP. Enters student immunization records into E*Value Perform other E*value duties as needed. Reviews student portfolios for completeness.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED and three years of administrative support experience are required. The successful candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite; i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Must be able to use financial software (ex. Mercer Citrix), web 2.0 programs (ex. Canvas or similar academic program support software), and ExamSoft.  Must be able to effectively interact with people, be flexible, and be able to communicate with professionalism. Punctuality, dependability, and being a team player are essential for this role.

Base: $14.03 an hour
