Responsibilities

Under the direction of the program director/department chair, provide administrative support to the Department of Public Health and Master of Athletic Training program. Effectively communicate the activities of the department to internal and external constituents. Ensure that appropriate faculty and student activities are properly recorded and maintained. Prepare reports and information and disseminate to department/program stakeholders and constituents. Assist in maintaining department/program efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required along with three years of administrative support experience that must include excellent word processing and other software knowledge skills. The successful candidate must have: 

  • Knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and flexible.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student files.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism.
  • Ability to communicate with chair, directors, faculty, staff, and students.
