| Responsibilities |
This position is crucial to operation of the department. The Dispatcher answers calls and dispatches officers in an efficient and orderly manner. The Dispatcher must decide the priority of calls when there is more than one problem to deal with. Maintains the daily log of incidents and submission of reports. Monitors surveillance of cameras on campus and performs other related duties as assigned.

| Required Qualifications |
Requires HS diploma or GED and excellent telephone and communication skills. Must be computer literate and detail oriented with the ability to handle emergency situations in a calm manner. Must be willing to work assigned shifts. Current GCIC certification and/or previous experience working in a police department is desirable.
