Responsibilities

The Mercer University School of Law seeks an experienced teacher and nationally renowned scholar to join its faculty to teach primarily in the area of legal writing. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on the   credentials of the selected candidate, to begin July 2019. The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Mercer Law has long been recognized as a leader in the field of legal writing. We are interested in candidates who would both benefit from and contribute to the school’s legacy. Consequently, the successful candidate will have demonstrated interest and expertise in teaching legal writing.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a law degree from an accredited university/college,  three or more years of full-time experience teaching legal writing, and a proven commitment to the production of high quality scholarship, particularly in legal writing.
