Responsibilities

Mercer University's Stetson School of Business and Economics, AACSB-accredited, is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track clinical position in Finance at the Lecturer level beginning August 2019.  Based at the Macon campus, about 1.5 hours’ drive from Atlanta, this position is renewable and offers the potential of long-term employment.  The focus of the position is teaching and service.  Teaching load is seven courses per year at the undergraduate level and possibly at the graduate level.  Service responsibilities include participating on school and university committees and advising and mentoring students.

Qualifications

An M.B.A. in finance or M.S. in finance degree from an accredited college/university is required.  A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in finance from an AACSB-accredited university is preferred.  Demonstrated teaching excellence is required.  Candidates with significant industry experience are preferred. The Stetson School of Business and Economics has a Bloomberg terminal and a Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) with $1 million grant.
