Responsibilities

The Coordinator is responsible for the facilitation and resolution of disciplinary cases, including conducting administrative meetings, facilitating hearings, imposing and evaluating sanctions, and advising the Student Conduct Council. The Coordinator also conducts educational outreach efforts to the university, specifically to freshman students. The Coordinator will also prepare and coordinate hearings related to Title IX. This person assists the Associate Dean of Students in case management, including maintenance of conduct records and database, assessment and evaluation of the Office of Student Conduct Resolution, compiling annual reports required by federal law, hearing board selection and training, hearing board supervision, and other duties as assigned. This position will include planning and coordinating logistics for summer conferences.

Required Qualifications

A master's degree (preferably in Higher Education, Student Personnel Services, or Counseling) from an accredited college/university is required.  Additionally, at least one year of residence life or conduct experience is required. Directly relevant experience during Graduate program will be considered.  The successful candidate will be able to advise student organizations, manage conduct databases, and plan/coordinate programs and training. 

The successful candidate must have a valid driver's licence and be insurable by the University's carrier as this position does require travel.
