Responsibilities

Duties of the position include system design, software design and software development in ADA, C/C++ and assembly language, analysis of system performance and deficiencies, and threat analysis.  In addition, the position includes design, modification, development, writing and testing of software for EW systems, support equipment software and support tool software.

Required Qualifications

- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Successful candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD security clearance.
- This position requires a Ph.D. degree in a technical subject (e.g., EE or an engineering degree in a related area from an ABET accredited School or College of Engineering) directly related and appropriate to the primary Division and Directorate functional area and 12 years related program experience including four years technical lead responsibility and/or program management experience; or a Masters degree in same and 12 years related experience including four years technical lead responsibility and/or program management experience; or an undergraduate degree in same and 15 related experience including four years technical lead responsibility and/or program management experience.
- Experience in the development of real time software for scientific or engineering applications to include software, hardware, and systems architectures to meet strict time and performance objectives is required. 
- Ten plus years experience is required with AF Electronic Warfare systems in the areas of system level functionality and in development and maintenance of OFP software and the related EID.  Knowledge of threat systems as well as standard DoD threat databases is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a development team.  Knowledge of configuration management, CASE tools, airborne avionics, and standard electronics laboratory test equipment is desired. Exposure to CMM or CMMI development environment is a plus.
